    Position Summary

    Virgin Orbit (VO) is seeking a new member for our team to serve as Business Systems Analyst, Manufacturing and Supply Chain. This position will assist in the implementation and support of LauncherOne’s Oracle ERP. Business Systems Analyst for ERP will be supported and working closely with in-house and remote MES, Oracle ERP and Teamcenter PLM teams as well as Manufacturing Engineering, Shop Floor and Supply Chain subject matter experts. This is a full-time position at Virgin Orbit’s aerospace facility in Long Beach, California.

    Your Mission

    • Functional expert in Oracle EBS ERP for manufacturing and supply chain
    • Scoping, sizing, design and documentation of configuration and customizations
    • Experience in integration with major MES/QMS
    • Super user, functional training creation and maintenance of training material
    • On-going ERP level one (direct) support
    • Liaison to level two (remote) support groups
    • Creating custom SQL reports for production and supply chain metrics and KPIs
    • Reporting on open support tickets and ticket burn down rates
    • Help Virgin Orbit do our part to make the world a better place
    • Constantly learn new things—and share them with your team members
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    What you bring

    • Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering or business fields
    • Expert knowledge of Oracle ERP. MES and PLM systems are a plus
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP for manufacturing implementations
    • Experience in aerospace, aviation or automotive/heavy equipment industries is preferred
    • Ability to work in both R&D and production rate environments
    • Proficiency in SQL reporting is required
    • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and leadership skills
    • Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
    • Driven, highly motivated, and committed to improvement
    • Ability to add something unique and positive to our team
    • Generally high level of all-around awesomeness

    • Strong knowledge in systems integration
    • Experience implementing Oracle EBS is a plus
    • Problem solver, able to work in multi-disciplinary teams
    • Knowledge of Tableau or other similar reporting frameworks is a big plus
    • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems is a plus
    • Passion for space exploration and a firm belief in the utility of affordable access to space
    • Ability to thrive as a ‘one person team’

    ITAR Requirements

    To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
