    Position Summary

    VOX Space is seeking a driven subcontracts and contracts resource to be responsible for overseeing the preparation and negotiation of a broad range of government and commercial contracts, and subcontracts. The successful candidate will serve as the key contact to leadership, operations and project staff regarding contracts and subcontracts. This roll will ensure compliance with contract deliverables requirements and will establish and maintain senior/executive level relationships with Government customers and VOX Space executives. This is a part-time position with opportunity to transition to full time at VOX Spaces’ facility in El Segundo, California.

    Your Mission

    • You live and breathe business and are intrigued by multiple various disciplines such as: program financials, forecasting, manufacturing, business development, scheduling, and contracting.
    • Leads/manages the development and submittal of proposals (including fact-finding), contract negotiations/settlements, assessment of terms and conditions (including FAR and agency supplements) Requests for Proposals/Quotes, proposal evaluations, source selections, file documentation, change management, and evaluation of relevant business risks associated with contract execution on all contract types in timely execution.
    • Identifying and communicating significant/unique contract requirements, special provisions, updates, and terms and conditions with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Developing and maintain detailed and organized contract files, including correspondence, changes, amendments.
    • Applying ingenuity and innovation to develop solutions to complex subcontract problems including key objectives and rick management ensuring contract compliance.
    • Proactively administering contracts, modifications through contract closeout in close coordination with the program team, and ensure contract management activities and maintenance of accurate and complete contract files and records are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and customer requirements.
    • Provides preliminary direction, serves as a guide and acts as a resource for junior or new staff on the team.
    • Define resources needed to support contracts administration and associated tasks. 
    • Outline policy and processes for implementation as the company grows.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Organizational Management, Engineering, English or a related discipline.
    • 15+ years of relevant Subcontracts/Contract administration experience.
    • Experience with FAR and government contracts; as well as commercial.
    • Experience with various business Information Systems.
    • Knowledge of ITAR and US import and export regulations. 
    • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. 
    • Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and resourceful attitude.

    Physical and/or Additional Requirements

    • Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime as well as weekends when needed.
    • Domestic and International travel will be required for this role. In addition to, candidate will require a valid passport.

    ITAR Requirements

    To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

    Clearance Requirements:

    Position requires you have a current clearance, or are able to pass an appropriate background check for a TS/SCI.
